The staff were friendly and even learned my dog's name. The library was so fine I wished I had more time to just sit there with a book by the fireplace.

It wasn't exactly cheap but honestly it felt worth it.

Clean venue with excellent location close to the adjacent theatre as well as several dining districts. Variety of food at the great breakfast. Overall really really nice stay for 6 nights.

The service was excellent, totally satisfied. Loved the room with an extensive library of first edition books signed by the author, my bed was extremely comfy. The location was stunning for walking around Portland Art Museum.

I stayed 3 nights at the Heathman being on a business trip. It is a nice, classic hotel with excellent and friendly staff. It has a good location. The breakfast is fantastic and the restaurant really good. I had a spacious room.

The high-speed internet is not exactly high-speed (as in many hotels).

Bed was awesome, room was very quiet (didn't hear others outside our door or above us, and the hotel was booked full that night), and good food service. Plus, I love the coffee press pot and that you had 1/2 and 1/2 available in the room.

Price can be prohibitive for some however, we got a great late reservation price and this was most helpful (and we were most grateful)

Staying here was a delight, especially with the awesome proximity to Tom McCall Waterfront Park and the fantastic restaurants like Ruth's Chris just a quick stroll away. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

Location is close to restaurants and the metro. The bike rentals were confusing and not worth the hassle.

The staff greeted us warmly. We loved the stylish decor and spacious rooms!

My children wished for a larger pool area to play in.

great stay for a city break

Comfortable room, excellent staff, and great breakfast, especially enjoyed the delicious crab omelet and the complimentary drink vouchers , all while being just a 20-minute walk from the art museum.

Beautiful room and friendly service, but check-in was confusing and took too long.

The Heathman Hotel was a gem! Our stay in the King Guestroom was nice, with a beautifully decorated room that provided a cozy corner with an inviting armchair-perfect. The library bar was a good spot for a quiet evening drink, and the staff were really nice too ensure our experience was enjoyable.

The bathroom was a bit small.

Relaxing with a nice book by the fireplace and enjoying the peaceful lounge atmosphere were highlights of my trip. Just a heads up, the parking fees add up, but it's worth it for the overall experience 😊

The hotel was beautiful and provided a unique atmosphere with its library filled with books, which offered a perfect spot to relax. The room was clean and comfortable. I noticed that the front desk staff could be a bit warmer in their interactions. I enjoyed my time and would consider returning if in the area again.
